Help Raise £5000 for Little Paxton Community Pavilion

Help Raise £5000 for Little Paxton Community Pavilion

As many of you are aware the Little Paxton Community Pavilion has a fundamental issue which has caused damp, wet rot and dry rot. This will mean a damp membrane and concrete will need to be added. Also all the wood (floors and joists) and walls will need to be replaced. The Pavilion is closed and the project is well under way and we have started to remove all the wood and floor from the Pavilion, however we will need additional funds to help rebuild the Pavilion. If you are also available to volunteer to help then please let David Perry or Ian King know.I understand that these are very difficult times but any help would be much appreciated. Ben's Challenge

Ben's Challenge

Little Paxton Resident, 9 year-old Ben has set himself a Charity Challenge to raise money for Hinchingbrooke Hospital on Just Giving.

Inspired by Capt Tom Moore - on 16th April, Ben's challenge is to run 1000 laps of his garden (which equates to a marathon) by his 10th Birthday on 5th May.

A fund raising target of £300 was set and Ben has already smashed through this and when including 'gift aid', the amount raised so far is £1,000 (= £1 per lap). More »

To achieve his 1000 lap target ,Ben is running in excess of 53 laps every day - and is now up to lap 593.

Hinchingbrooke Hospital is aware of Ben's fund-raising - and is in regular touch with the family and promoting through their comms channels.
