Children's Tallest Sunflower Competition

The Parish Council is launching its 'Children's Tallest Sunflower Competition'.

The competition is open to all children residing in Little Paxton and pupils at Little Paxton Primary School.

Free to enter. The prize for growing the tallest sunflower will be awarded at the Autumn Flower & Vegetable Show on 11th September.

Who said ' To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow''?

The daffodil bulbs planted in the Community Garden in October are in full bloom and look vibrant with the different shades of yellow.

If you are walking past the Community Garden as part of your daily exercise, dog walking or going to school, please add a colourful Easter decoration to the Holly Tree.

Notice is hereby given pursuant to section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that due to the resignation of Councillor Sally Scotcher there is a vacancy on the Little Paxton Parish Council.

If, within 14 statutory days after the date of this notice, a request for an election to fill the vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer, Huntingdonshire District Council, Pathfinder House, Huntingdon PE29 3TN by ten electors of the town an election will be held. If no such notice is given the Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co-option. More »

HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh

Little Paxton Parish Council sends condolences to Her Majesty the Queen and her family on hearing of the death of H R H Prince Philip.

The dedication of Prince Philip to our Queen and our country will always be remembered.
