Little Paxton Cemetery is a designated lawn cemetery situated off the B1041 Great North Road which is approx 2 miles outside Little Paxton.
The cemetery was opened in 1984 and is owned and managed by Little Paxton Parish Council. The Parish Council is the Burial Authority
Set in a peaceful and tranquil location, with the River Kym flowing nearby, the cemetery is on a hill over looking the farm lands at Southoe & Midloe .

Little Paxton Lawn Cemetery Extension
In April 2022, Little Paxton Parish Council purchased 2.2 acres of land to the left of the existing cemetery for a cemetery extension. The extension has four large extensive areas for double depth burials and two Gardens of Remembrance for ashes remains. This will provide sufficient burial space for residents for the next 50 years.
The landscaping was completed in June 2023. Three of the burial area have been planted with wild meadow flowers. A rose garden has been planted with rose bushes and is surrounded by a yew hedge. There are three benches to provide a seated area of reflection. In Autumn 2023, hedging will be planted along with Spring bulbs.

Residents and non residents of Little Paxton may purchase Exclusive Rights of Burial in the cemetery extension.
The Burial area will be known as the Kite Burial area as these birds of prey are often seeing flying over the area. The Kite burial area has 13 rows of ten graves. All burial plots are double depth.
The Robin Garden of Remembrance has 32 rows of 9 ashes plots. There are many robins bobbing about the cemetery. All ashes plots are double depth.
