The Community Led Plan highlighted the need for Cold Calling zones in the village.
Cold Calling zones were first set up in the UK by Cambridgeshire Trading Standards. They are designated areas ( streets, cul de sacs etc) which aim to deter uninvited sales people and help give residents the confidence to say 'no' to doorstep callers.

Due to delays with the street furniture order (belisha beacons), Cambridgeshire County Council Highways will not be starting work on the new Mill Lane zebra crossing on 19th- 22nd March.
The Bridge WILL NOT BE CLOSED overnight.

Little Paxton Parish Council is seeking a Groundsperson to help maintain QEII Playing Field, Childrens Play Parks, Allotments, Little Paxton Lawn Cemetery, St. James Churchyard ,grass verges and general maintenance.
This is a full time position however, part time will be considered.
Chainsaw qualifications would be an advantage although not essential.

Cambridgeshire County Council Highways will be starting work to install the new zebra crossing on Mill Lane, Little Paxton. The work will be carried out overnight to minimise disruption.
The Mill Lane bridge will be closed from 19th - 22nd March 8pm - 6am.
Diversion routes will be signposted.

1st Little Paxton Brownies are working to gain their Take Action- Influence- Skills Builder Badge.
As part of the badge work, they are collecting pet food, toys and bedding for Wood Green Animal Shelter.

A poppy sculpture was 'unveiled' this morning on the grass verge near the High Street entrance of St James Church.
The metal sculpture depicts six poppies which represent the six Little Paxton residents who gave their lives in World War 1, together with a Tommy's helmet, bayonet and cross. Poppies started growing in no man's land at Flanders during World War I.
