Advance Notice Temporary Traffic Signals Great North Road & Park Avenue

New dropped kerbs will be installed at West Lodge on Great North Road, Little Paxton.

There will be temporary traffic signals on Great North Road between Little Paxton Lane & Park Avenue while the work is being carried out.

The work is scheduled to start from Monday 9th January to 20th January.

Please allow extra time for your journeys.

Advance Warning Mill Lane Bridge Repairs - Little Paxton

Works will start on the Mill Lane Bridge on 9th May to repair the retaining wall.

The road will be closed between 20th & 23rd May. At other times there will be temporary three way traffic lights in operation.

The repairs are expected to take 7 weeks.

The Mill Lane bridge in Little Paxton WILL NOW NOT BE CLOSED on 25th -28th Feb.The proposed works will be a carried out at a later date.

Children's Play Park Repairs Tues 7th Dec & Wed 8th Dec

Red rocking horse

Contractors will be on site at the children's play park at the QEII Playing Field on Tues 7th Dec & Wed 8th Dec replacing the wet pour surface under the big red rocking horse.

A section of the play park will be closed for two days while the work is carried out.

The toddler part of the play park will be open.

Advance Warning - Village Hall Car Park Tues 7th & Wed 8th Dec

QEII Playing Field

Anglian Water will be carrying out essential maintenance work on the water pipe at the rear of the QEII Playing Field next week starting on Tuesday. The work will take 2 weeks to complete.

Some of their HGV vehicles are wider than the playing field barrier and part of the playing field fencing will be removed to allow access.

Think Yellow!

QEII Playing Field- Bulb plantinig

You may think this looks like a bit of rough grass at the bottom of the QEII Playing Field.

Underneath the soil are 351 bulbs which have been carefully planted this week and will burst into colour in the Spring.

The flowers will provide food for insects, pollen for bees as well adding to the natural beauty of the field.

Repairs to St. James' Churchyard Wall

St James' Churchyard Wall

Advance Notice

Work is due to start on Monday 28th June to repair the East Boundary wall at St. James Church, Little Paxton.

The wall has extensive damage and is leaning in places.

Diversion routes will be signposted.
