Cambridgeshire Libraries can now accept new referrals to the Revised Library@Home Service. This service is open to Cambridgeshire Residents who fit a set criteria: -

The service is for anyone who usually relies heavily on reading books or listening to audiobooks AND who is either housebound or shielding/isolating due to age or health conditions under the current COVID-19 Government guidelines.

Children's Activities -School  Summer holidays

Huntingdonshire District Council Active Lifestyles Team are organising the children's activities to be held on the QEII Playing Field Little Paxton on Wednesday 29th July.

There will be a limit on numbers of children attending to meet current COVID 19 restrictions.

Instead of a 2 hour slot as previously advertised, there will be 2 x 1 hour sessions ( 2pm - 3pm or 3.15pm - 4.15pm).

Last week there were many comments on social media about the amount of litter left around the sailing lake.

The Government has announced significant funding to improve cycle paths as a better means of travel. The Parish Council is considering submitting an application for funding to improve/widen the path from the High Street/Great North Road junction, over the bridge to the junction with Hail West Road. The Parish Council is taking over the ownership of the piece of land between Gordon Road and the allotment track. We will be using the area for a small community garden.

Advance Warning - Little Paxton Village Hall Car Park Closed

Advance Warning - Little Paxton Village Hall Car Park Closed

The Little Paxton Village Hall car park will be closed on Wednesday 20th May 7am - 5pm.

The parking spaces are being re-marked to create additional car parking spaces. All the road markings including those on the access road are being refreshed.

The work will take a day to complete.

As many of you are aware the Little Paxton Community Pavilion has a fundamental issue which has caused damp, wet rot and dry rot. Ben's Challenge

Little Paxton Resident, 9 year-old Ben has set himself a Charity Challenge to raise money for Hinchingbrooke Hospital on Just Giving.

Inspired by Capt Tom Moore - on 16th April, Ben's challenge is to run 1000 laps of his garden (which equates to a marathon) by his 10th Birthday on 5th May.
