Little Paxton Edible Garden
The Parish Council is taking over the ownership of the piece of land between Gordon Road and the allotment track. We will be using the area for a small community garden.
The intention is to create a space which is an asset to the village and which showcases how an area with little botanical value can be transformed into something that looks beautiful and benefits both people and wildlife.
We will be planting some edible plants such as fruit trees and bushes for villagers to enjoy and also creating spaces for wildlife and flowers. We are hoping to have some raised planters to act as a focal point for the area and which can be planted up with a variety of plants.
If you would like to get involved with the garden in any way from design, funding and community engagement through to planting and weeding, please contact us
