Flash Flooding Little Paxton
In August rain storms caused flash flooding in the village - Lakefield Avenue, St. James Road, Gordon Road and other areas were badly hit.
The Parish Council has surveyed over 90 drains/gullies and 80% of these drains are blocked and/or have vegetation growing from them.
Cambridgeshire County Council Highways have been approached for the drains/gullies to be cleaned as a matter of urgency.
We would urge residents to report any blocked drain near them to Cambridgeshire County Council via their website.
