The areas the Parish Council will grit as a part of the Winter Gritting Programme are:
1. Entrance from the QEII Playing Field from the High Street to the Doctors Surgery. This includes the footpath along side the children's play park.
2. The Rookery Steps & Ramp.
3. Footpath through St James Churchyard.

Little Paxton Parish Council is organising a community event to promote interest in existing village groups/organisations and to help create new village interest groups.
The free event will take place on Saturday 15th September 2pm - 4pm in Little Paxton Village Hall. Refreshments will be available.
Many village clubs and organisations will have a table in the hall to promote their group activity.

Free children's activities on the QEII PLaying field tomorrow (Wed) from 10am - 12 noon.
The sessions are run by HDC's Active Lifestyles team.
Lots of games- badminton/tennis, football plus wide games.
No need to book - just come along. Bring a water bottle. The Community Pavilion will be open for toilet access.

The Connections Bus has contacted the Council this afternoon to advise that due to a mechanical failure it will not be visiting Little Paxton on Thurs 26th July.

The Parish Council has this morning cordoned off the roundabout in the children's play park due to safety concerns.
Hopefully, the problem will be repaired soon and it won't be too long before the roundabout is back in action.
Due to the extreme heat some of the wetpour safety surfacing has shrunk from its edges leaving some small gaps.

The Connections Youth Bus will be visiting the Village Hall Car Park on Thursday evenings 7pm - 9pm during the school Summer holidays. The bus is supported by two youth workers and there is no admission charge.
The bus is high tech with internet access, games, computer consoles plus crafts, tuck shop etc.
Anyone can hop on the bus and it is aimed at young people school year 7 and above.

Final count down to Saturday for Paxfest. The field set up is from 8am and by 10.30am the playing field will be ready for stall holders to set up their stalls.
